Bridge Railing Project Successfully Completed

Recently, Vionta Metal have completed the delivery of a city bridge railing project.

The total length of the bridge guardrail in this project is about 1500 meters, including landscape guardrail, anti-collision guardrail, and a central guardrail system with lighting function. The project has been successfully installed and put into use.

During the project, Vionta are responsible for material selection, structural confirmation, production and manufacturing, and segmented supply of the guardrail system to ensure product quality is consistent with the on-site construction progress.


Overall situation of the project


This bridge railing project mainly consists of three types of railings with different functions:


1. Outer landscape railing

2. Crash barrier

3. Embedded light strip railing in the middle


The overall color of the railing is uniformly sky blue, which not only meets the safety function but also takes into account the overall visual effect of the bridge.


Outer landscape railing: 304 stainless steel structure




The landscape railing on the outer side of the bridge is mainly made of 304 stainless steel. This material has been maturely applied in bridges and municipal projects, with stable performance.


From a practical engineering perspective, 304 stainless steel has the following characteristics:



  • Good corrosion resistance, suitable for long-term outdoor use
  • Stable structural strength, suitable for continuous railing systems
  • After surface treatment, the appearance is clean and not easily aged after long-term use


Surface treatment process description




The landscape railing of this project adopts high-temperature electrostatic spraying technology.

Compared to ordinary spraying, the coating of this process is more uniform and has better adhesion.

After spraying, the surface color of the railing is stable, not easy to fade, and can adapt to outdoor environments such as sunlight and rain. Sky blue has good visual performance both during the day and at night.


Anti collision barrier: Zinc steel material scheme

  


The bridge anti-collision railing adopts zinc steel structure.

This solution is more suitable for bridge usage scenarios in terms of safety and durability.

The main advantages of zinc steel railings include:


1. The steel body has strong impact resistance

2. The surface galvanized layer can effectively prevent corrosion

3. Stable structure, suitable for long-term use


During the production process, we uniformly control the thickness of the profiles, welding processes, and dimensional accuracy to ensure that each section of the crash barrier maintains consistent structural performance after installation.


Central railing: embedded light strip design


The central railing of the project adopts an embedded light strip structure.

The light strip is directly integrated inside the railing profile, rather than being externally installed later.

This design has obvious advantages in practical use:

  • High temperature electrostatic powder coating: using a fully automatic spraying line to ensure 360 ° coverage of the "sky blue" coating without dead corners.   • Engineering grade welding and expansion design: By combining high-frequency welding and fish scale welding processes, the fatigue strength of the weld seam is significantly improved. For a long distance of 1500 meters, we have scientifically set up physical expansion compensation joints to effectively balance thermal expansion and contraction stresses, ensuring long-term structural stability.
