Russian Customer Shares Finished Black Aluminum Pergola Installation

We recently received finished installation photos from our customer in Russia, along with a thank-you message for their new Vionta Metal pergola. It was great to see how the pergola has been integrated into their backyard and turned an unused corner of the lawn into a more practical outdoor living space.

A Black Aluminum Pergola Installed in the Backyard

The customer chose a 5 m × 4 m black aluminum pergola and installed it in one corner of their backyard lawn. Before installing the pergola, they added a wood deck over the grass, creating a level outdoor platform for the structure.

The four pergola posts are fixed directly onto the wood decking, giving the structure a defined place within the garden while keeping the surrounding lawn open.

This simple layout creates more possibilities for outdoor activities. The space can be used for family gatherings, outdoor dining, relaxing, or spending time with friends. Instead of leaving the corner of the yard as unused lawn, the customer has turned it into an outdoor area that can be used in different ways.

Motorized Louvers, Warm Lighting and Windproof Curtains

This Aluminum Louvered Pergola was customized with several features based on the customer's requirements.

The aluminum louvers are electrically operated with a smart remote control, allowing the customer to adjust the roof conveniently. The pergola also includes customized light strips with 3000K warm light, providing lighting for evening activities and outdoor gatherings.

Black manual windproof curtains were installed on the sides. They can be adjusted when additional shelter is needed while keeping the pergola open when the weather is comfortable.

Integrated Gutters in the Louver and Post Frames

Both the louver system and the post frames include gutters. This allows rainwater to be collected and guided through the pergola structure instead of simply running off the roof edge.

For a backyard pergola, this detail helps make the space more practical for everyday outdoor use and complements the customer's wood-deck installation.

More Possibilities for Outdoor Living

A well-planned aluminum pergola can extend the usable area of a home without turning the backyard into a fully enclosed room. In this project, the pergola occupies one corner of the garden while leaving the rest of the lawn available for other activities.

The open layout also makes the space suitable for outdoor dining and barbecue gatherings. For customers planning an outdoor cooking area, a motorized louvered structure can also be configured as an Aluminium Barbecue Pergola, providing a dedicated space for cooking, dining, and entertaining outdoors.
