Product Types
Three Housing Types: Full Cassette, Semi Cassette, and Open
All three share the same folding arm mechanism. The difference is how the fabric roller and arm springs are housed when the awning is retracted — which affects appearance, fabric protection, price, and the right application for each type.
Full Cassette Awning
Most protective · Premium finishThe fabric roller, spring arms, and drive tube are completely enclosed inside an aluminum cassette housing. When retracted, only the rectangular cassette is visible — a clean, intentional look that suits building facades and front-facing installations.
Fabric is shielded from UV and dust when not in use, extending service life by an estimated 20–30% vs open type. Highest retail price point.
Best for: Premium residential patios, front porches, hotel and hospitality entrances, HOA-regulated communities.

Good balance · Most popularA partial housing covers the top and rear of the roller, with the front bar partially exposed when retracted. Cleaner than open type, more cost-effective than full cassette. The most common choice for standard residential applications worldwide.
Provides moderate fabric protection. Front bar finish should match frame color for best visual result.
Best for: Standard residential decks and patios, commercial shopfronts, volume wholesale orders for mid-market retail.

Most economical · No housingNo cassette housing — the fabric roll, arms, and spring mechanism are all visible when retracted. Simplest to service and lowest unit cost. Not the first choice where facade appearance matters, but well-suited to rear-of-house and commercial utility applications.
Fabric receives no protection when retracted. Service access is easier than cassette types.
Best for: Commercial cafes and restaurants, rear service areas, budget-priority residential, cost-sensitive wholesale.
