Most outdoor structures force a compromise: a fixed roof keeps the rain out but traps heat and kills airflow; an open pergola lets the breeze through but leaves you at the mercy of the weather. The adjustable louvered aluminum pergola doesn't ask you to choose. The motorized aluminum blades rotate between 0° (fully open) and 135° (fully closed, rain-shedding position), so one structure handles clear summer afternoons, drizzly evenings, and everything in between.
At Vionta Metal, we manufacture every component in-house — extrusion, surface treatment, motor assembly, packaging — as a source supplier and factory we export directly to contractors, distributors, and developers worldwide. There's no middleman in our supply chain, which means shorter lead times, tighter quality control, and pricing that reflects actual factory cost.
Direct from our factory: Every unit ships with a numbered installation drawing set, hardware kit, and English assembly manual. Standard colors ship in 15–20 working days. Custom sizes and finishes typically add 3–5 days.
When you're sourcing an aluminum pergola for a project, the specs on paper rarely tell the whole story. Here's what actually matters in practice.
The electric rotation range of the adjustable louvered aluminum pergola is 0 ° to 135 °. Optional wall switch, wireless remote control, or mobile application control.
The staggered blade contours guide rainwater into the hollow column and discharge it from the bottom - silently and without dripping below.
Tilting the blades can reduce solar heat by up to 70% while ensuring free air circulation.
Aluminum will not rust or rot. Powder coating surface treatment can last for more than 10 years without the need for repainting - this is a significant advantage compared to wooden structures.
The single span ranges from 3 × 3 meters to 8 × 6 meters; Suitable for multi span configuration of large commercial terraces. Customized size is a regular option and not a special requirement.
Optional Wi Fi, turn off the connection of rain, wind, and light sensors to achieve fully automated operation.

Every Vionta adjustable louvered aluminum pergola ships with a numbered installation drawing set, a complete hardware kit, and a step-by-step assembly manual in English. A standard single-bay unit can typically be installed by a two-person crew in a day — no crane or heavy lifting equipment needed.
01. Foundation layout and anchoring
Mark anchor points from the supplied base-plate drawing. Set M12×120 mm stainless steel anchor bolts into concrete and allow full cure time before proceeding.
02. Column installation
Set posts plumb and tighten base-plate bolts to 40 N·m. Thread the internal drain pipe down through the hollow column and connect to site drainage at the base.
03. Beam assembly
Slide beams into the CNC connector housings on top of each column. Secure with concealed M8 bolts. No site welding at any stage.
04. Blade guide rail and blade installation
Mount aluminum guide rail extrusions on the inner beam faces, level with shims as needed. Slide blades into the guide rails from one open end, then fit end caps and the drive shaft.
05. Motor wiring and commissioning
Mount the 24 V DC motor unit and connect pre-terminated wiring to the transformer and wall switch. Power up, pair the RF remote, run a full open/close cycle, and set motor limit stops.
06. Water test and handover
Run water over closed blades to confirm the seal and check column drain outlets are clear. Hand over the installation manual and motor warranty card.

Q What happens to the blades in a storm — is there any real risk of wind damage?
All motorized adjustable louvered pergola units are compatible with an optional wind sensor. When wind speed crosses a preset threshold — adjustable between roughly 40 and 70 km/h — the sensor triggers the motor to rotate the blades to the fully open (0°) position, where wind resistance is minimal and structural load is lowest. We strongly recommend the wind sensor for any site within 500 m of the coastline or in an exposed, open location. Without it, blades should be manually set to 0° before a storm. For extreme-exposure sites, we also offer a mechanical blade-locking kit that physically secures the blades at the safe parked angle as an additional safeguard.
Q Do you support custom sizing, and what's the minimum order quantity?
Yes — custom sizing is central to how we work at Vionta Metal from China. Most of our export orders involve at least one non-standard dimension. To put together a quote, we need: the blade span direction (width), the projection depth, the required clearance height to the beam underside, the mounting type (freestanding or wall-mounted), the local wind zone or snow load if known, and your preferred color or finish. From there, our engineering team produces a fabrication drawing for your approval before any cutting starts. Custom lead times are typically 3–5 working days longer than standard. Minimum order is one unit — sample pricing doesn't carry volume discounts, but it's the most practical way for contractors and distributors to evaluate build quality before committing to a larger run. Standard batch orders start at five units; distributor volumes are negotiable.
